Fortnite players can rejoice as a new update will go live today. The latest patch is coming with version 12.50 & it is about to bring a lot of enhancements & bug fixes for the game. Epic Games have already shared the schedule for the update on the Fortnite Status Twitter handle.
According to the official tweet, the new patch 12.50 will arrive on Wednesday, April 29 & downtime will begin at 2 am ET (0600 UTC). Well, during the downtime, matchmaking will be disabled for players. Have a look at the official tweet below.
In the previous update for the game, we saw the addition of Travis Scott related stuff. Well, now the Astronomical event is over, but it created a new milestone in the gaming community as a total of 28 million unique players watched the event which was divided into five concerts.
The success of this event, once again clears the air why Fortnite is still a big thing & such a great influence. Well, we can expect some another interesting event during the start of Chapter 2 Season 3, which has been delayed due to COVID-19.
Coming back to the update 12.50, Epic Games have listened to the community request of releasing the patch notes again. However, they have been sent via mail to creators. It enlists some changes that are coming with the new patch & you can read them down below.
Party Royale. All chill, no sweat.
Party Royale is a new experimental and evolving space. Leave your weapons and mats behind. We plan to run some tests here this Friday at 9pm EST. These are subject to change, but feel free to come by and cheek it out.
Operation: Payload
A new spy mode debuts in this build. Use your current spy tech, as well as new tech in this release, to defend/escort the payload against the other team which tries to stop you — then switch sides. The mode takes you to different parts of the island, check it out and have fun.
Heavy Sniper Damage
Ghost Agents have tampered with Heavy snipers to retune their effectiveness. Mentioned below are the changes in Sniper after update v12.50, which have been provided by iFireMonkey.
