Asus is a slow and quite smartphone OEM, which is heavily sustaining in the smartphone market due to its online sales. Though the company offers some decent mid-range phones, it is yet to make an impact in the flagship territory which seems unlikely, as it is being captured by the likes of Samsung.
Asus is also not known for rolling out speedy updates and there are a lot of its phones still waiting to be updated to the latest security and firmware versions. However, the Taiwanese smartphone OEM, Asus, has released a new AOSP based Android 10 beta update for the Asus ZenFone Live (L2).
Prior to this AOSP based update for the ZenFone Live (L2), Asus has rolled out the Android 10 AOSP build for the ZenFone 5 and Asus ZenFone Live L1 (Lite L1).
For specs buff, the ZenFone Live (L2) is a mid-ranger with specs that read SD 425, 2 GB of RAM, up to 32 GB of onboard storage, and houses a 3,000 mAh battery. It comes with Android 8.0 Oreo (Go Edition) and it seems that this device is going to get upgraded to Android 10.
Moreover, taking a look at the official firmware page for the Asus ZenFone Live (L2) update, Asus is also quite specifically mentioned that this firmware is meant for ZenFone Live (L2) phones with model numbers ZA550KL/G552KL.
The update is available for download with version V17.07.2003.405 and weighs around 1.6 GB in size. Interested users of the Asus ZenFone Live (L2) can download the firmware from below and manually upgrade their phones:
