Original story (published on April 14) follows:

In the early 2010s, Samsung used to represent everything that was wrong with Android. Heavy skins on top of Android, a clumsy UI, redundant apps and a truckload of gimmicks. Samsung has since cleaned up its skin over the year.

Samsung’s One UI is one of the cleanest and functional skins in the industry, winning critical acclaim from both users and critics. The company has been pushing out its most recent skin, One UI 2.1 to a number of its eligible devices.

As is the case with the rollout of updates on Android, the unlocked variants get the update before any carrier variants of the same can enjoy that. We have seen the Galaxy S10 getting updated to One UI 2.1 recently.

It looks like T-Mobile is soon hopping onto the bandwagon and updating its Samsung Galaxy S10 to the One UI 2.1 build. When asked by a user when the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 will get updated, a Verified T-Mobile Employee confirms that;

The update should begin rolling out to S10s and N10s on the 16th of April.

However, it is worth noting that this is not the first Samsung device on T-Mobile to get updated to the new One UI 2.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 devices on T-Mobile have already been updated to Android 10-based One UI 2.1 You can read more about that here.

One UI 2.1 is the latest update to Samsung’s already popular One UI 2 skin that is based on Android 10. This skin brings a few key improvements over One UI 2. For a more in-depth look at what features come with the new version of One UI, check out our coverage on One UI 2.1 features.
