Original story (published on April 6) follows:

Honor 10 Lite, which was launched back in November 2018, came with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Since then, the users of the Honor 10 Lite in the UK, are still waiting for the Android 10 (EMUI 10) update.

To recall, we have earlier documented a post, where, as per the tweet by the official Twitter handle of Honor UK, the EMUI 10 update for the Honor 10 Lite was expected to arrive in February and March 2020.

And if we go by the above statement, the update should have arrived on the Honor 10 Lite devices in the UK region. But, we cannot ignore the COVID-19 pandemic, that has shaken the entire world.  It has affected all the industries and the smartphone market is no stranger to this.

And it seems like the COVID-19 pandemic has also pushed the Android 10 (EMUI 10) update for the handset in the back burner, for some time.

Because, as per the latest tweet by Huawei Mobile Ireland, that the company is having difficulties in pushing the updates for the Honor 10 Lite in the UK region and it will be out soon.

The initial update was set to roll out in February and March, but we experienced some delays. And now due to COVID-19 we are having more delays getting the updates pushed out for everybody.

Besides, from the above statement, it is also unclear as to when the Android 10 update for the Honor 10 Lite will actually be pushed for the users in the UK region.

However, keeping in mind the current scenario the whole world is facing, users might need to wait for some extended period to get the Android 10 (EMUI 10) update on their devices.
