Well, the COVID-19 has also brought some changes to Pokemon Go. As the game encourages, players, to go outside and complete the in-game tasks. With the ongoing outbreak, playing has become slightly difficult for PoGo players.
Well, Niantic actively took care of this issue & brought a few changes to the game which will stay with active until further notice. A one-time purchase bundle of 30 Incense is currently available for 1 PokéCoin.
Also, Incense will also last for one hour. Egg hatch distances have been halved if they are placed into Incubators. Gifts are now dropping more often from Pokestops.Pokemon habitats have been increased and more Pokémon are currently appearing in the wild.
Cut to now, Niantic has also announced some changes to Field research tasks. Due to the ongoing health crisis, Niantic has temporarily removed, select Field Research tasks from the game, that could be difficult to finish from home. If you’ve already collected these tasks, you’ll still be able to complete them and receive rewards.
Also, the latest Genesect event, Special Research Tasks can be completed anytime. There is no end date to it. Well, these changes are also expected to stay live until further notice from Niantic. Meanwhile, you can check the official statement down below.
