After much success following the anime adaptation of the franchise, Koyoharu Gotouge’s Kimetsu no Yaiba will be having its own mobile and PS4 game. The first ever Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba mobile and PS4 games are set to be released this year.
As a trailer, the production team of Kimetsu no Yaiba mobile game released its first production video. The promotional video contains some fan-favorite scenes from the anime. It also contains a first look at how the mobile game would be like.
Kimetsu no Yaiba mobile game
The genre of the game is asymmetric battle royale style survival action. It will be a multiplayer game in which players are divided into demon slayers and demons, following the concept of the manga. Players may choose the role of demon slayers or demons in a cooperative battle structure.
The maps used for the game will be familiar to Kimetsu no Yaiba fans. This will be a wonderful chance for Kimetsu no Yaiba fans to play their favorite characters, may they be from the demon slayer corps or the demons.
The official release schedule of Kimetsu no Yaiba mobile game is not yet finalized. It was only announced to be released this year. But given the release of a promotional video, it is safe to assume that we can enjoy this game very soon.

Other Kimetsu no yaiba updates
Aside from the Kimetsu no Yaiba mobile game PS4 games, The first movie of the franchise is also scheduled to be released this year. Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Movie – Mugen Train was announced on September 28, 2019, immediately following the airing of episode 26.
The movie will follow the story of the seventh arc of the manga. Instead of an anime series adaptation, it was decided that this arc will be turned into a full-feature film. The anime adaptation of the succeeding arcs is yet to be announced.
However, given the success of the franchise, anime adaptation of the following arcs will be sure. Kimetsu no Yaiba won the best anime awards in the Crunchyroll 2020 Anime Awards. Kimetsu no Yaiba manga also became the top-selling manga of 2019 according to the Oricon chart reports from November 19, 2018, to November 17, 2019.
