Coronavirus or the COVID-19 has literally brought the world to a still. It is spreading across the globe at a rapid pace and is having a considerable effect on the economy of the countries, and a huge impact on the lives of the people.

Till now, there is no vaccine available to cure this pandemic. People are advised to stay indoors, avoid public gatherings or going out to public places so that the spread of the COVID-19 can be avoided.

Software Developers are also working towards making certain apps that can make people aware of the effect of this virus happening around the world.

In line with this, a couple of days ago a new iOS app was teased to be in-development that would provide a corona related statistics tracker at the top of the status bar to keep people aware of the current corona stats.

And now, the app has been released for the iOS users and can be installed on the devices using any jailbreaking tool. Talking about the CoronaCount application, as per the official GitHub page:

Taking a look at the features of this first release of the app, it can show reports of Coronavirus from 24 countries, individually and also show the corona cases across the world.

Currently contains the following features:
– Show Corona Cases in the status bar for the whole world
– Shows cases of 24 individual countries

Moreover, this app currently only supports MacOS while Linux and Windows support will be added soon. You can download the API and repository from below:

For those who are willing to install this app on their iOS device, are required to firstly jailbreak their devices via unc0ver or checkra1n that can be run from Android devices as well. Then run install the file via the Cydia Impactor.
