Call of Duty Warzone was released on March 10, 2020. It is a free-to-play battle royale game which is available on all three platforms, including PS4, Xbox One & PC, developed by Infinity Ward & published by Activision.
CoD Warzone is a massive new combat experience where up to 150 players take the role of a veteran Tier 1 Operator and drop into the dense and sprawling world of Verdansk. It was released as a standalone game which can be run without a ‘base’, directly downloadable from the respective console stores.
Call of Duty Warzone mode features two modes – Battle Royale & Plunder. In the battle royale mode, the last squad standing wins the game while escaping the deadly gas in the swiftly closing circle with up to 150 players.
In Plunder, players are required
to collect the most in-match Cash by looting across the map, taking down enemies to steal their Cash, and completing in-match Contracts. Warzone takes place in Verdansk, an expansive city with multiple named zones and well over 300 points of interest.
Cut to now, many players are currently experiencing crashes while playing Warzone. For the first time, Activision has officially addressed crashes on the Warzone subreddit. However, Activision has only acknowledged PC crashes & asked players to fill out a form, if they have already done troubleshooting steps.
- Perform a clean install of graphics drivers
- Ensure your drivers are updated
- Ensure you have the latest version of Windows installed
- Run a Scan and Repair through BattleNet
If you are observing or having crashes, even after following the troubleshooting steps, then you are required to fill this form. Rest assured, we are keeping a close tab on all the developments & will update you with more information whenever it arrives.
