Recently, Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare has gone live. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 has brought a range of new content for the game. Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare has included new playable operator, Simon “Ghost” Riley.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 also added two new weapons – Grau 5.56 and Striker 45. Players can unlock these weapons for free whereas new playable Operator Ghost can be obtained through premium Season 2 Battle Pass.
In addition to the new playable operator, the game has also added two more multiplayer maps. Two maps which have been added under the Season 2 banner include the following – Rust & Atlas Superstore.
Apart from these plethora of additions, new leaks are suggesting that Modern Warfare yet to announce Battle Royale Mode, Warzone, will be shipped as a standalone free-to-play game. There is no official announcement from Infinity Ward or Activision regarding the Warzone. But a lot of leaks from the last few weeks indicate that it will release within a month.
On February 17, VGC has reported that new Battle Royale Mode will become part of the game in early March. However, previously one of the prominent COD data miner, TheGamingRevolution, predicted that Warzone will arrive on February 18.
