Samsung not only has an impressive range of smartphones under its portfolio but it also has a wide range of smart wearables. The first Galaxy Gear which was a smartwatch was announced back in 2014.
Since then, Samsung has widened its smart wearable section. In fact, as Samsung has improved in pushing new updates for its smartphones, Galaxy watches are also upgraded frequently.
And if you are the owner of the original Galaxy Watch then, there is good news for you. Sprint has confirmed that the voice calling update will soon be pushed for the Galaxy Watch 42/46 mm variants.
To recall, the Galaxy Watch came out in 2018 and packs in Exynos 9110 with 1.5 GB of RAM, a 472 mAh battery in the 46 mm variant while a 274 mAh battery in the 42 mm variant.
The 46 and 42 mm Galaxy Watch spot a 1.3 and 1.2-inch AMOLED display respectively and runs on the Tizen based Wearable OS 4.0 out of the box.
Matter of fact, back in September 2019, we reported that Sprint Samsung Galaxy Watch was expecting the VoLTE based update in the near future.
Moreover, in the next month, Sprint pushed the VoLTE for the-then recently launched Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 while it was also expected that the update for the original Galaxy Watch was arriving in November 2019.

Although the VoLTE feature has been finally announced to be arriving soon for the original Galaxy Watch 46/42 mm variants, it will be interesting to see when the actual update rolls out.
