Motorola Razr 5G foldable may be coming soon. At this point, this could be speculation only, so take this leaked rumor with a grain of salt.
Some would agree that the most stunning smartphone of the previous year was the Motorola Razr.
A pocket-friendly foldable smartphone with reasonable specs, but with great style and nostalgia. Its specifications were Snapdragon 710 SoC with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage (starting), 6.2″ foldable pOLED display & 2510mAH battery with 15W fast charging support.
A recent report from a chinese blog reveals that a Motorola Razr 5G foldable is in making by a Motorola subsidiary. Presumably, Motorola might not go with a flagship 5G processor with this version as well. So a Snapdragon 865 (which has 5G already builtin) is a clear NO.
Motorola could potentially go with Snapdragon 765G, which is more likely, but MediaTek Dimensity could also be a possibility. Motorola Razr 5G variant could be released worldwide but initially, it’ll be a China-only version.
For a quick reminder, Motorola Razr foldable – which will be selling in the US starting February 06 at $1500 – would be a Verizon exclusive. Just that it won’t be 5G compatible.
