Apart from that, Niantic has also revealed the details regarding the upcoming Community Day. Pokemon Go January Community Day will feature Piplup, which is a Water-type starter Pokemon from the Sinnoh Region.
Pokemon Go January Community Day will also bring in a variety of bonuses for players. The list of bonuses that players will get for the upcoming Community Day includes the following: 1/4 Egg hatch distance, 3-hour Lure modules, and event-themed Field Research Tasks.
Niantic has also shared the timings for the upcoming Community Day. Pokemon Go January Community for the Northern Hemisphere region will take place on January 19, 2020, from 11 am to 2 pm in your local time zone.
For the Southern Hemisphere, Pokemon Go January Community Day will take place on January 19, 2020, from 3 pm to 6 pm in your local time zone. Also, if you are lucky, you may get a Shiny Piplup. You check the shiny Piplup family down below.
Apart from this, there is also a change in the raid boss pool. Heatran is available in Raids as Tier 5 Raid Boss until February 4, 2020, at 1 pm PST. Speaking of Heatran, it is a Fire-Steel type Pokemon and is weak against fighting, water & ground types Pokemon.
Players can catch Heatran in the following CP ranges : 2058-2145 (Level 20) and 2573-2681 ( Level 25). The best counters of Heatran are the following : Garchomp, Groudon, Excadrill, Rhyperior, Golurk, Flygon, Rhydon, Swampert, Golem, Kyogre, Machamp.
