A new update is going live for Pokemon Go, and it bears the version number 0.163.4. Pokemon Go players are facing AR mode related issues from the last two weeks. Earlier, Niantic released the update 0.163.3, which was supposed to fix AR-related issues.
But the previous update didn’t fix the AR-mode related completely. Well, players are now hoping that the latest update to the game will fix the AR-Related issues. The information regarding the release of the new update was shared by a Reddit user & Pokemon Go player “EARLFORCE1“.
We will share the complete details regarding the new update once Niantic shares its complete release notes. Apart from that, Niantic has also revealed the details regarding the Pokemon Go January events.
January 2020 is bringing in new special research to the game. Players can help Professor Willow with new research tasks and take down the villainous group. Players can take this opportunity to fight Giovanni & save the Legendary Pokemon, Shadow: Moltres.
Apart from this, Pokemon Go Adventure Sync Hatchathon is also returning to the game. Hatchathon event will start on Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 1 pm to Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 1 pm PST. Players can also be rewarded with Stardust, Rare Candies, and Unova Stone for walking the extra distance.
In addition to this, Heatran is also returning to raids. Heatran will return to raids on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 1 pm to Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at 1 pm PST. Heatran will enter the raids as Tier 5 Raid Boss, and if you are lucky, you may encounter Shiny Heatran.
Apart from this, there are reports that some new Unova region Pokemon might come to the game soon. However, Niantic has not shared any official date for it currently.

While reverting back to a Samsung Galaxy S10 (running Android 10) user who was complaining about AR+ Mode crashes, here’s what Niantic support recently said:
We apologize for the inconvenience, Trainer. We’re still looking into the issue where Galaxy S10 Devices on Android 10 are experiencing crashes when using features in AR+ Mode.
