Android 10 ended almost a decade old tradition of naming the OS iterations. Before Google announced the title, there were many discussions about the dessert after which the new version was going to be named. And yeah, it came out as a sheer surprise.

The OEMs are still working to update their flagship devices to the latest version. When it comes to Samsung, they are rolling out the build to this year’s top-end devices. Although T-Mobile units got the update only yesterday, AT&T and Verizon (5G edition) ones did it a week ago.

If you happen to be a Samsung user for quite a long time, you know they didn’t excel in timely OTA updates. However in this year, the story took another turn even for security patches. On a side note, S10 series already received Android 10.

While the users of carrier branded units started tinkering with the new version, unlocked handsets couldn’t get a taste of it. Guess what? It’s changing as the company began rolling out the overhaul today. We managed to get the screenshot of software information from an updated phone.

At this moment, we haven’t got our hands on the exact changelog. Apparently, you can expect some major changes apart from the bump in the OS. And, we will add the significant modifications once we have an image of the update screen.

Haven’t you seen the OTA notification? Do you think something has gone wrong with your handset? Take a chill pill and wait for your turn. As is the case with every over the air overhaul, you will have to stay patient. Not everybody will get it simultaneously.

In any case you want to flash the build, keep a track of this article. We will be adding the download link when we grab it. But before going to get your hands dirty, make sure your unit is US unlocked.
