Pokemon Go : New Special Research Celebrate 2019 tasks and rewards

Pokemon Go December Community Day has now gone live in many locations around the world. This month’s Community Day will stay live for two days instead of the usual one. According to the official schedule, Pokemon Go December Community Day is scheduled to take place on December 14, 2019, to December 15, 2019, from 9 am to 9 pm in your local time zone.

Pokemon Go December Community Day has also increased the spawn rate of many Pokemon. The list of Pokemon which will be seen more often in the wild includes the following: Totodile, Swinub, Treecko, Bagon, Torchic, Slakoth, Mudkip, Ralts, Turtwig, Trapinch, and Chimchar.

Also, Pokemon that featured in 2018 Community Days will appear in Raids. Players will get to see the following Pokemon in raids: Pikachu, Dratini, Bulbasaur, Mareep, Charmander, Larvitar, Squirtle, Eevee, Chikorita, Beldum & Cyndaquil.

Pokemon Go December Community Day is also bringing in a variety of bonuses for players. The list of bonuses that players will get under the December Community Day are the following: Egg hatch distance will become half, doubled catch XP & double stardust will be rewarded.

However, these bonuses will only be awarded in a three-hour window from 11 am to 2 pm. Well, apart from this, a new Special Research, “Celebrate 2019” has gone live. The questline features a variety of tasks. The completion of these tasks will give rewards to players. The list of Pokemon Go, “Celebrate 2019” special research tasks have been mentioned below.

These special research tasks will go live in your timezone at 9 am when December Community Day will start in your region.

For a quick refresher, Virizion will make its entry to the game on December 17, 2019, at 1 am PST and will stay live in the game until January 7, 2020, at 1 pm PST. Virizion will come in raids with Raid Boss CP of 39601 and it is super weak against flying-type Pokemon and is also vulnerable to Psychic, Fairy, Fire, Ice, and Poison-type Pokemon.

Players can catch Virzion in the following CP ranges: Level 20 CP (1649 – 1727 CP) & Level 25 CP ( 2061 – 2159 CP). The best counters for Virzion are the following: Moltres, Honchkrow, Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Togekiss, Lugia.
