PUBG Mobile update 0.16.0 patch notes : Adds new EvoGround mode, RageGear

Winter and Christmas season has finally arrived for PUBG Mobile as complete details regarding the new patch have been released. PUBG Mobile’s new update 0.16.0 will go live on December 11, and it is also bringing a new mode and snow to the game.

Servers will not go offline for the forthcoming update 0.16.0, and it is 670 MB in size. The patch will be available on both Android & iOS platforms. Also, players on different patches won’t be able to invite each other, so they are recommended to update their game as soon as possible.

PUBG Mobile update 0.16.0 is going to bring a new EvoGround mode to the game, which will be called RageGear. Under this mode, players will be divided into two teams and randomly assigned as the driver or shooters. Players are required to destroy enemy vehicles to win the game. Mentioned below are the details related to the new patch.

• Destroy enemy vehicles to win
• Each vehicle is installed with powerful weapons, including the mounted Gatling, mounted Shotgun, and mounted RPG.
• Driver also gets to fire weapons while driving the vehicle.
• Get RageGear-exclusive items for a distinctive tactical effect.
• RageGear -TDM mode: Destroy an enemy vehicle for 1 point. The team that achieves the target score first wins.
• Pick Up mode: The team that collects the required number of Point Crates first wins. Point Crates collected are lost once the vehicle is destroyed.

As it is Christmas & festive season, snow is taking over Erangel. Also, players can enjoy snowboarding while queuing for Erangel in Classic mode. Players will also be able to take cable cars on Snow Mountains. So it will be a great in-game winter experience for the players.

PUBG Mobile update 0.16.0 has also added a switch button with the help of which players can switch to FPP while playing TPP in the classic, Arcade, and Training mode. Also, now players will be able to heal themselves while moving in the classic mode of the game.

The following list of items can be used by players for the healing purpose while moving: Med Kits, Painkillers, Energy Drinks, Bandages, First Aid Kits, Adrenaline Syringes, and some consumables from other modes. However, movement speed will be reduced while using consumables. Also, players who will update the game until December 17 will receive the following rewards: 50 Silver, 2,888 BP, 3 Day Winter Dress.
