With every release of a new Android OS version, Samsung publishes a list of devices that will benefit from the new OS alongside the expected release dates of the software.

Keeping its tradition, the Korean company has taken to its Samsung Members app with an official list of devices that will receive the new One UI 2.0 update based on Android 10 alongside the expected arrival of the OS.

However, there are a couple or so surprises with this listing. First, Samsung says the stable One UI 2.0 update will begin rolling out in January 2020. Yes, this includes the Galaxy S10 series that is currently sitting on beta 7 of the Android 10-based update.

Galaxy S10 to get Android 10 in January 2020

Given how fast the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 beta updates have been coming through, its unlikely that Samsung will take another month testing the OS before rolling it out. If anything, the OS should be released within the next month.

Even more baffling is that Samsung will supposedly push the One UI 2.0 update to the Galaxy M20 in January ahead of the Galaxy Note 10, which is slated to pick the update in February 2020 alongside the Galaxy S9, Note 9, A30 and M30.

Another interesting observation is that Samsung Israel published its own version of the One UI 2.0 roadmap and surprisingly, there are a few differences. For instance, Israelites will reportedly get Android 10 on their Galaxy Note 10 and Note 9 in January alongside the S10 series.

It’s likely that the One UI 2.0 update roadmaps for each region may vary, but even so, we don’t expect huge variations between the various release timeframes. Samsung revised its official Android Pie roadmap a couple or so times, so you can also expect some revisions to this initial roadmap.

We will keep following this development and let you know in case there are any revisions to this One UI 2.0 roadmap. Stay tuned to our Samsung and Android 10 sections for more related stories.
