Pokemon Go Team Go Rocket boss Giovanni, along with Team Go Rocket leaders Cliff, Sierra, and Arlo have finally arrived in the game. Players have to complete the special research “Looming in the Shadows” quests to encounter Giovanni.
The completion of the questline will help Professor Willow to create Super Rocket Radar. “Looming in the Shadows” special research has been divided into six stages. The completion of quest stages will give players a variety of rewards.

Mentioned below are the stages of special research “Looming in the Shadows” and its corresponding rewards. Currently, rewards for Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 4 have been mentioned below, we will update the post when we get to know rewards for all the stages.

Apart from this, Team Go Rocket leaders have disrupted Pokemon habitats and it has increased the spawn rate of many Pokemon including: Ekans, Meowth, and Koffing. If you are lucky you may find Shiny Meowth.
The Team Go Rocket Disruptive event went live on November 7, 2019, and will stay live until November 14, 2019, at 1 pm PST. A few new Shadow Pokemon have also been introduced under this event which includes the following: Sandshrew, Bellsprout, Magnemite, Porygon, Wobbuffet.
Also, Team Go Rocket Leaders now have access to the following Shadow Pokemon: Meowth, Scyther, and Sneasel. As mentioned above, lucky players may catch Shiny Meowth. Have a look at the Shiny Meowth family down below.
