The upcoming ‘Pokemon Sword and Shield’ game is scheduled to be released on November 15, 2019. But the ‘Pokemon Sword and Shield’ game will only be released on the Nintendo Switch platform. The game has been set up in the Galar region and features many new Pokemon.
Pokemon fans are pretty excited about this game as it also features Gigantamax forms. The game also features Galarian forms of few previous generation Pokemon. Players can now preload the game on Nintendo Switch consoles in Japan and Europe.
With this, players can purchase and download the game in advance. But the game won’t be playable until the release date.
Apart from this, an official teaser released on October 17 revealed the Gigantamax forms of many Kanto region Pokemon, including Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, Butterfree, and Meowth.
Gigantamax forms can only be obtained if Pokemon has an activated Dynamax form. Pokemon should be fighting a Max Raid Battle to use its Gigantamax form. Only eight Gigantamax forms have been teased so far for the game.
Pokemon Sword and Shield has also added many new Pokemon to the game which includes the following:
Grookey (starter), Scorbunny, Sobble, Eldegoss, Gossifleur, Wooloo, Drednaw, Corviknight, Impidimp, Zacian (Legendary), Zamazenta (Legendary), Alcremie, Yamper, Rolycoly, Duraludon, Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Weezing, Galarian Zigzagoon, Galarian Linoone, Obstagoon, Morpeko and Cramorant.
Pokemon fans have loved the new form of Ponyta. Speaking of Galarian Ponyta, it comes under the category of Unique Horn Pokemon and is a Psychic-type Pokemon. Galarian Ponyta height is 2.7″ and weighs around 52.9 lbs.
Galarian Ponyta can absorb the life energy from the surrounding environment and can store in its mane. Galarian Ponyta mane becomes very colorful and emits a sparkling glow in the presence of a lot of energy in the surroundings.
Pokemon Sword and Shield also feature another interesting Pokemon, Morpeko, which exists in two forms – Hangry Mode and Full Belly mode. It can launch an electric aura wheel attack in its full belly mode, whereas its wheel changes to a dark type in Hangry mode.
‘Pokemon Sword and Shield’ has also added many Galarian forms to the game. It is similar to Alolan forms; the following Pokemon have Galarian forms in Pokemon Sword and Shield: Weezing, Sirfetch’d, Zigzagoon, Linoone, and Ponyta.
