Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order coming to Steam with other popular EA titles

EA latest Star Wars title – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now officially on Steam and available for pre-purchase on Steam. And it looks like other EA titles will also be moving to Steam.

There were rumors about EA games finally returning to Steam. The rumors started when EA teased the collaboration of EA and Steam on their twitter handle. The company tweeted out a video of a hot steaming mug with EA logo on it.

Not long after that, a twitter user with twitter handle @RobotBrush revealed a test application to run Origin games through Steam. This made it clear that EA and Valve were up to something. Take a look at what they found –

Looks like, the rumors were true and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is only the first. Gradually all EA titles will return to Steam.

EA has confirmed that Unravel Two, The Sims 4 and “all major titles” will be coming back to Steam. Also, it was confirmed that FIFA 20, Apex Legends and Battlefield V will be coming to Steam next year.

EA also told that not only it will be bringing its games to Steam, but they will also be coming out with their own game subscription – EA Access. While there is no fixed date of EA Access’ release, the publisher said it would be around March or June 2020.

EA Access will offer subscribers access to all the EA titles known as “Vault”. The subscribers will also get incentives such as early trials and exclusive discounts. Up until now, this service has been available through Origin on all major platforms.

The price of EA Access for PC will be similar to console prices – $4.99 a month and $29.99 for an annual subscription. Presently, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Jedi is only available for pre-purchase on Steam.
