Assetto Corsa Competizione is a racing simulator game that has been developed by Kunos Simulazioni. The game is a sequel to Assetto Corsa. It is an officially licensed simulation of the 2018 and 2019 Blancpain GT Series season Sprint and Endurance Cups and the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
Assetto Corsa Competizione features Free Practice, Hot Lap, Superpole, Hot Stint, Quick Race, Sprint Race Weekend, Endurance Race Weekend, and a top-ten Superpole. A new update for Assetto Corsa Competizione has gone live, and it has brought a variety of new elements to the game.
The game’s latest update 1.1 has made 2019 Blancpain GT series season’s vehicles, teams, and the Zandvoort Circuit free for all players. The update has also added six new car models to the game. The following list of new cars have been included in the game: Audi R8 LMS EVO, AMR V8 Vantage GT3, Honda NSX GT3 EVO, Porsche 991 II GT3 R, McLaren 720S GT3, Honda NSX GT3 EVO, Porsche 991 II GT3 R, and McLaren 720S GT3 ( under Bonus content)
A revamped version of Zandvoort Circut is now available in the game for players. An updated version of the tarmac for Barcelona, Silverstone, and Spa Francorchamps are also incorporated, and the game selects the racetrack depending on the selected season.
Some new features have also been implemented in the latest update of the game. Now, Assetto Corsa Competizione features a display of full scene pit crew operations, which includes refueling and tire replacements.
Players can now zoom in and rotate cars in the new showroom, which is available on the vehicle selection page. The lead developer, Kunos Simulazioni, has also made some custom modifications to Unreal Engine 4, which allows the game to provide a better experience on triple monitor setups.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is also collaborating with McLaren Racing to bring the McLaren Shadow esports project to the players and the game. Open qualifiers for the McLaren Shadow event will start on October 27 and will end on November 7, 2019. Players will receive the McLaren 720S GT3 as a permanent gift under this event.
