September 16 marked the day when Vivo NEX 3 5G was launched in China. The 12 GB RAM + 256 GB variant of the smartphone was up for reservation from September 28. Starting today, the 12 GB variants are available for sale, as prior to this, only the 8 GB variants were available for sale in China.
As you may know, Vivo NEX 3 5G is available in three variants – 12 GB RAM + 256 GB (5G) internal memory, which is priced at ¥6198.00 (~$867), the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB (5G) priced at ¥5698 (~$797) , and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ( 4G ) priced at ¥4998 (~$699).
All the variants are available for purchase from official Vivo China’s online store, Jingdong Mall and Suning. However, Tmall is only offering the 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB variant.
Impressively the smartphone features 6.89-inch super curved Waterfall display. Powered by Snapdragon’s latest 855+ Chipset. It has an enormous battery capacity of 4500 mah.
Vivo claims for the NEX 3 to have a 93.6 percent screen space. The phone also has an in-dispaly fingerprint sensor. The phone has virtual pressure sensitive buttons on the side instead of phisical ones and has a no notch full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2256 pixels display.
The phone sports a 64 MP rear camera with Samsung GW1 sensor f/1.8 aperture as primary lens. The phone’s telephoto lens of 13-megapixel f/2.5 aperture and the ultrawide sensor of 13-mgeapixel f/2.2 aperture sums up the rear camera housing.
The front camera is a pop-up type and has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. Not to miss, Vivo NEX 3 5G doesn’t have external microSD card slot, but it has options of fixed UFS 3.0 external memory space of upto 256 GB.
The FunTouch OS 9.1 based on Android Pie runs on the phone out of the box, which provides a very soothing feel. The phone interestingly has a headphone jack incorporated in it and supports quick charge of 44W through USB-C. So are you planning to get hand on this device?
