Absence of minimap outraged Call of Duty Modern Warfare beta players ; Karma unleashed Tactical Nuke

Call of Duty Modern Warfare beta is now live for PS4 users. Currently, beta is only available to those players who have pre-ordered the game. The open beta will start on September 14 and will stay live until September 16, which will be made available to all PS4 owners.

Xbox One and PC users will have to wait a week due to an exclusive deal between Activision and Sony. Well, many players who had early access and played Call of Duty Modern Warfare on PS4 were outraged by the absence of the Mini-map.

They expressed their concerns on social platforms like Reddit and Twitter. A sudden outburst from the community, made Infinity Ward to address this issue on the very first day of the beta launch. While addressing the issue, devs said the following:

We hear you loud and clear. Along with your feedback and the data we’re continuously collecting, we’ll be experimenting internally with a few different options and will keep you updated if we make any changes that you might see during the Beta. This is an ongoing conversation with all of you, so again, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this topic and we’ll update you again when we have more information to share.

It is apparent that Infinity Ward does not want to outrage the community. Well, it will be interesting to see how Xbox One and PC players will react to the absence of the mini-map. For now, it seems like Infinity Ward has to come up with a solution as the community is unhappy with the missing mini-map.

Apart from the mini-map controversy, players have also faced connectivity issues with the beta version of the game. Players faced problems including partying up with teammates and connecting online to their PSNID.

Amid these issues, Karma had a great time as he unleashed Tactical Nuke in its first Call of Duty Modern Warfare game. Players can get Tactical Nuke killstreak after killing 30 enemies in a row. Well, achieving this feat in his very first play of Call of Duty Modern Warfare beta is pretty remarkable.

Once players achieve a Tactical nuke, the character inputs a launch code, triggering an eight-second timer and when it hits zero, the map is exploded by a Tactical Nuke. It is one of the deadliest killstreaks in Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
