Apex Legends bugs have been swarming all over the internet recently after a Reddit user started a thread in Apex Legends subreddit informing about the bug which was causing no care packages to spawn in the game. This bug was informed about a week ago and it’s still not fixed. Also there is no update on the matter from the developers as yet.
The bug was first spotted by a PC user but soon many players shared in the comments that the issue isn’t specific to PC players. Rather it’is happening to players on every device. This sparkled a lot of comments and community trying to reach the game devs.
But even after almost a week there’s been no communication from the developer’s side and the bug seems to remain unfixed.
Players also reported that no care packages made it impossible to complete the legendary weapon challenges. This leaves no way to get those rewards which could be earned by completing the challenges.
Also, yesterday itself players reported major connection issues yet again and this time it was straight up getting disconnected from the game. No lags, no frame drops, it was like game freezing and then disconnected from the game.
The devs quickly responded and the issue seemed to be caused due to double XP weekend. The double XP was turned off and postponed for the next weekend.
But the care package issue still remains in question and the devs haven’t even acknowledged the presence of that bug. Apex Legends devs have been active on reddit and other communication channels, but in absence of any official word, it seems the problem will take more time to get resolved and it may be a while before players can see one of the care packages other than Lifeline’s packages.
The challenges should be carried forward even if the event gets over if the issue remains unresolved. This will give plenty of time to complete the challenges.
