Need for Speed is one of the best racing game titles for PC gaming. The Need for Speed franchise has a very long history, and the first Need for Speed title was released back in 1994. Since then, a total of twenty-six Need for Speed titles have been released.
The popularity of Need for Speed has declined since 2012, as the Need for Speed titles that were released after 2012 did not leave any big impact on players.
Forza was made available for PC in 2016, and since then it has been gaining more popularity than NFS. But EA is back in business this year with a new Need for Speed title.
The name of the upcoming Need for Speed game has been leaked out on an Austrian website, Gameware. Well, according to the Gameware listing the forthcoming Need for Speed game will be called Need for Speed Heat.
During the EA’s earnings call it has been confirmed that the next Need for Speed game will be revealed during Gamescom 2019. EA has also confirmed that the upcoming Need for Speed title will be released somewhere between October 1 and the end of the year.
Gamescom 2019 will take place in Cologne, Germany and the event will start on August 20 2019 and will stay live until August 24 2019. A new Plant and Zombie game has also been confirmed , and it will be released on PC.
The EA is also expected to hold a press conference during Gamescom 2019. During the press conference, we are expected to get some more details about games including FIFA 20 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
For a quick refresher, the Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 is one of the most popular and downloaded NFS titles. EA Blackbox developed it, and it was also one of the first games to be released for the Xbox 360.
The game storyline featured a list of 15 notorious racers known as Blacklist, and players were required to defeat each one of them in the career mode of the game.
Speaking of the Need for Speed Heat (NFS 2019), we have to wait and see what EA has in store for us this time.
