Harry Potter Wizards Unite game update brings changes to Wizarding Challenges, Potions, & Portkeys

The newly released Harry Potter Wizards Unite game has managed to garner five million-plus downloads in just a matter of a month. The game is doing pretty well among Harry Potter fans.

However, the game has also received some criticism as many players found the first-ever Community Day quite boring. They were expecting an increased spawn rate for Severe and Emergency foundables.

Well, the game is still new, and the Wizards Unite development team is doing their best to make the game more enjoyable for players and community.

Recently, Wizards Unite team made some changes to Portkey rewards and today a new update for the game has been released which has brought in some new adjustments.

All the changes that have been made to the game are mentioned below.

WIZARDING CHALLENGES:

Increased chance of Challenge Foundables being awarded in Chambers 2-20

POTIONS:

Increased the chance for Re’em Blood, Snowdrop, and Bitterroot Potions Ingredients to appear on the Map

PORTKEYS:

Increased the amount of wrackspurts rewards in 7km and 10km Portkeys

BUG FIXES

• Fixed an issue with Challenge Foundables from Wonders of the Wizarding World not being rewarded in Wizarding Challenges.
• General bug fixes

The latest game update has only addressed issue with Challenge Foundables. However, there are still a lot of bugs which need to be fixed.

Also, the Wizards Unite Team has revealed some interesting data regarding the first-ever Community Day for the game. As per the shared details, players from all over the world returned over 12 million Foundables and walked more than 270,000 kilometres.

For a quick refresher, Harry Potter Wizards Unite was released on June 21. In the game, players are required to return foundables that are creating havoc on the overworld map.

To return them to the magical world, players need to defeat them in an encounter. After a successful return of foundables, players are rewarded with Wizarding XP and some other interesting in-game rewards.

Players can also use many different potions to increase the power of their casting spells which helps to defeat enemies more easily. Potions come in very handy against the strong enemies that players encounter during Wizarding Challenges in Fortress.

Players are required to use a Runestone to enter a chamber in a Fortress. Apart from that, the game has Inns, which is similar to Pokestops in Pokemon Go.

Inns provide resources like Spell Energy, with the help of which players cast spells in the game. Currently, players can hold a maximum of 75 Spell Energy, so it is always better to stack up more.
