Updates to this story are being added at the bottom……
TVMuse users were left shocked and surprised after the service went down sometime last week. The official website has been inaccessible since then, something which fueled rumors about a potential shut down.
Shut down rumors made sense as there was no official information on what happened to TV Muse.
Then I came across someone who started posting links on a different web page. At first, it appeared to be TVMuse’s new home, but turned out that was a lone contributor doing their part.

Here’s a screenshot of the links uploaded by the user:
While users were sad about this whole TVMuse shut down episode, understandably, they were also looking for alternatives. So I came up with a new story containing names of many user recommended TV Muse alternatives.
But, as I said in my latest TVMuse related story, it was too soon to believe TVMuse is dead. And turns out I was correct. The service may not be dead after all.
We received a tip from a user on Twitter (thanks Marintia Escobedo) about TVMuse’s new home. The tipster said TVMuse lost their original domain and are currently working to recover their database.
So you see, tvmuse.cc appears to be the new home of the service. What adds weight to this story is the following notification at the bottom of the home page of the new website.
Unfortunately we lost our domain tvmuse.com, we are working on recovering our database, in a few days we will have the website ready. Please bookmark our new site (Ctrl-D). Thank you!
The reason behind the loss of domain, however, wasn’t revealed.
So you see, the site currently doesn’t contain a lot of data, and I am not sure how much of it is actionable. So I’d suggest you all to try the new site and leave your experience in the comments section below.
Note: We are not endorsing TVMuse in any way what so ever. People should check the legality of the service before accessing it.
Update (January 11)
Pop Alexandru, who contributed links to the original TVMuse website (and is now updating a self maintained web page) says tvmuse.cc is a clone, and not the original TVMuse service.

Someone who also claim they were linker at the original TVMuse website have come out in support for TVMuse.cc, accusing Pop Alexandru of promoting their own blog. Here’s their response to Alexandru’s tweet:
