Funimation, a anime service which describes itself as industry leader of anime in North America, is suffering from a technical glitch at the moment. Users are complaining they are not able to access the service on mobile, gaming consoles, as well as through the official website.

For its part, Funimation’s Twitter account has acknowledged the problem with website. The company says they are working to fix the problem.

Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that Funimation is indeed going through a glitch in some regions as can be seen in the image below:

As of writing this, Funimation users are complaining of the website not loading or throwing Internal error 500. Downdetector also conveys the service is encountering some issues in the US region. Here are some reports for you to take a quick glance.

the website will not load. cleared history and cookies, used different browsers – just keep getting “website not available” message. And the fire tv app keeps slowing down and buffing for a long time

So Funimation is down and not working for many as of writing this. Apart from proliferating user reports on Twitter (some of which can be seen below), Down detector also conveys a service outage.
Of course funimation is down. Not like their streaming service is ever working anyways. ?
