Original story follows:
Tumblr’s adult content ban led to a large number of users logging off the platform on December 17 as a mark of protest. We covered the 24-hour log off in detail. Then, a few days ago, we brought you details of the phase 2 of this protest. And now, the second phase has begun.
As planned, mass tweeting to Tumblr CEO, Verizon, and Yahoo is underway. This way, users are expressing their frustration and anger on Tumblr’s decision to ban all adult content as well as the way the company has been implementing it.
Before we show you what users have been saying, let’s take a look at how this phase 2 was envisioned.
This time around – we’re not logging off. Instead, we’ll be banding together and pressuring corporations on social media and app stores
There are two steps to this Phase that are as follows:
1) Mass Tweeting.
For EVERY DAY of this Phase (So at least one tweet December 29, December 30, and December 31), tweet @ the following:@verizon @yahoo @tumblr @jeffdonof
These are all corporations that own and are related to Tumblr. Jeff D’Onofrio is the CEO of Tumblr. Tweet at them saying WHAT is wrong with this ban, HOW it affects you, and WHAT you want to be done about it. Tag each tweet with #phasetwo2018!
Following is a collection of some tweets which users have sent as part of the ongoing phase 2 of this protest:

It’s worth mentioning that this phase also involves leaving negative reviews about Tumblr on Google and Apple app stores.
2) Mass Reviews
Go to Tumblr on the app store of your choice (Apple or Google) and leave a negative review. Tell them WHY the ban is wrong, HOW it affects you and your experience, and WHAT you want to be done.Post each review online with a screenshot. Tag each post with #phasetwo2018! We need to lower their rating, and show them we mean business. No longer will be ignored. We’ll make them listen.
We’re keeping an active tab on this ongoing protest, and will let you known as when anything news worthy happens related to this matter. Until then, keep a tab on this space, and let us know in comments below your thoughts on Tumblr’s nsfw content ban.
