NOTE: For all latest, breaking news related to PewDiePie, other YouTubers, and YouTube in general, head here.
Looks like recent rumors that Ubisoft fired an employee named Dianna over her negative comments about PewDiePie aren’t true.
Dianna’s Twitter account is now public again and in a Tweet, which they have pinned, the Ubisoft employee said they are taking a social media break, while re-emphasizing that their social media accounts do not reflect views or positions of Ubisoft.
For those who aren’t aware of the whole episode, after PewDiePie gave a shout out to an anti-Semitic YouTube channel, Dianna had urged gaming industry “to end” PewDiePie, and cut ties with him. She made these comments in a tweet:
Enough is enough.

Gaming Industry: I'm going to need you to end this dude. You know EXACTLY who you are.
Cut ties with him... NOW.

Excusing his actions desensitizes people to ignorance & hate.
Saying hes a comedian is being ignorant to what comedians do.
Saying hes being satiric is being ignorant of what satire is.
Are we forgetting everything else he's done? Oh I forget that was a joke as well.

Dude, stop protecting garbage people. If you're perfectly ok with supporting racist and Nazi supporting people than, embrace it.
This is the wrong hot take.
Also, youre from LA, bro. You're in the US. You know there's been a rise of White Supremacists and hate crimes towards people of color, LGBTQ, Jews, and other marginalized people.

you're perfectly OK with this dude promoting the above with no consequences to minors?
She received a lot of backlash – especially from PewDiePie fans – over her comments. Shortly after these tweets, Dianna’s Twitter profile and bio underwent major changes, triggering rumors that she has been fired by Ubisoft. But with this statement, Dianna has put to rest all firing related rumors once and for all.
