Printer hack 2 is happening as we speak, is it again for PewDiePie?

If you are a PewDiePie fan, or follow the Swedish YouTuber in general, you’ll likely be aware of a recent printer hack as part of which a PewDiePie fan – known as TheHackerGiraffe on Twitter – hacked hundreds of thousands of printers worldwide in order to urge people to support the channel in its ongoing subscriber war against Indian music label T-Series.

Well, the hacker is at it again. Printer hack 2 is happening as we speak, and this time, TheHackerGiraffe has collaborated with another hacker who is known as j3ws3r on Twitter.

So this time, they are planning to hack some 100,000+ printers.

While TheHackerGiraffe’s last hacking attempt – which earned them tremendous media coverage, making them popular overnight – was aimed at garnering support for PewDiePie, they aren’t yet disclosing the reason behind this new hack.

They are, however, again sticking to the bottom line that through these hacks they want to spread security awareness as well. If their recent tweets are to go by, the hack could also cover stuff beyond printers.
