[Update: fake] PewDiePie to fans: Let's hit 100 million subscriber mark in 2018

Felix PewDiePie Kjellberg recently announced their YouTube channel got a whopping 5 million new subscribers in last 30 days.

That’s definitely a big push even for a YouTube channel which is already the most subscribed one. It would not be wrong to say the ongoing subscriber war with Indian music company T-Series played a big role in this.

There’s literally a #subscribetopewdiepie campaign being run on Twitter, someone hacked printers worldwide to urge for support, and Pewds fans/followers – also known as Bros – have even petitioned British PM Theresa May for help on the matter. What more, there are paid ad campaigns being run on social networks and companies like Pornhub have also offered support.

With all this help, the PewDiePie channel recently crossed the 75 million subscriber milestone and more recently, even overtook YouTube Sports in terms of subscribers. Of course, fans of the Swedish YouTuber are elated, with some even saying the he is defeating the system itself.

So what’s next? Well, looks like PewDiePie is now eyeing a new milestone: 100 million. Yeah, a Twitter user recently shared a screenshot showing a comment from PewDiePie where he is asking fans to help the channel hit the 100 million subscriber mark.

Lets hit 100 million subs before the end of December! Lets beat Tseries and lets not let him catch up! Whose willing to help! We are super close to reaching 100 million before the end of December

The comment, it appears, was made on a YouTube video. We’ve reached out to the Twitter user to see if they can share the link to that video. If and when that happens, we’ll update this story.

Hitting the 100 million milestone is definitely not an easy task, but it’d be interesting to see how the Bro army reacts to this call from PewDiePie, and how much close they are able to get to the 100 million mark by December end.

Meanwhile, the PewDiePie vs T-Series fight is now making news for a wrong reason – the official T-Series website was down for days before being back online yesterday. It’s being suspected that a Pewds fan was behind the hack.
