September 8th Still Nothing from GalaxyNote9
Update (September 21):
You can read about Samsung Galaxy Note9 issues and problems here.
Original story follows
It’s unpleasant to hear that many Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users are facing speaker and/or camera-related issues (the company is even aware about the latter).
But what’s even worse is that there are a large number of those who are still waiting for their preorder to be delivered.
Yes, a significant number of people who placed Note9 pre-orders shortly after the phone was unveiled are still waiting for their units.
And looks like it’s a problem at Samsung’s end as many people have received following (or similar) emails from the company acknowledging the delay:
We know you are excited to get your Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Unfortunately, we are experiencing higher than expected demand due to which there is a delay in shipping out your order
Needless to say, that’s super annoying, especially to those who pre-ordered the phone as soon as it was made available.
As the email above says, many customers are now getting September 29 as the new date.
It’s worth mentioning that majority of those whose preorders have been delayed have ordered the 512GB version.
Following are some reports we collected from around the Internet:
This has absolutely been the WORST “pre-order” experience I have ever experienced. My original estimated delivery was Aug. 28 thru Sept. 5th now the app says Sept. 19th thru Sept. 26th. Please enlighten me, what is the purpose of a PRE-ORDER if you won’t get the device until almost a MONTH AFTER the device is released??? I just received this text from T-Mobile saying my order has been delayed. What a smack in the face Samsung! I am at a loss for words and I am so tempted to call up Tmobile and Samsung and completely blow up

Even more reports here.
So as you can see, a very large number of preorders have been affected by this delay. Here’s hoping that the South Korean company acts quickly, and resolves this delay problem as soon as possible.
Rest assured, we’ll let you know as and when any news worthy development takes place on this front.
