A OnePlus staff member recently shared the reason for delay in Android Pie open beta for OnePlus 6.

This time the company came up with an interesting QA session dubbed mystery AMA game, keeping the identity of their guest hidden from the users/participants, providing ‘a mystery youtuber’ as the only clue.

While users kept guessing and some were correct, OnePlus’ weekly update revealed the mystery guest’s identity. It was Zack, more popularly known as JerryRigEverything answering select user queries during AMA.

Have you been trying your luck to get hands on Bullet Wireless, and stand disappointed due to shortage of units? Well, in that case there’s good news for you. OnePlus has confirmed the headphones should be back in stock in mid-September.

Here’s what one of the staff member said while breaking the news.

What about the Bullets Wireless? We hear you (we) and are in the process of making more. The next estimated batch should come in mid-September.

Android Pie beta to hit OP6 this week

While OnePlus has already rolled out first HydrogenOS Android 9 open beta for Oneplus 6, the same for OxygenOS is due this week.

The confirmation came from a Oneplus staff member (last week), saying

It’s estimated that the first open beta for Android Pie may come as early as next week (woohoo!)

So, OnePlus 6 users (outside of China), get ready to taste Pie beta.
