In the mid of May, we highlighted an Android 8.1 update triggered Android Auto compatibility issue on Moto X4 devices, wherein on plugging in the device (with the help of a USB), AA head unit in car threw a notification stating connect a compatible device.

What’s now coming to light is that Motorola has pushed out the fix for the problem in form of an update for Moto X4 units.

The confirmation came from a senior MotoAgent on the company’s official help forum. Here’s what exactly they said:

I am glad to inform you that the improvements have started rolling out in stages. You will just receive a notification on your phone once it is available.
