Xiaomi Mi A1 users created a uproar of sorts when the Android One phone didn’t get the February update in time (for starters, the February patch arrived in March). So when some users started getting April update notifications recently, it seemed the Chinese company is making up for what it did last time.
However, turns out that’s not the case. Yes, it’s not the April update, but the March one instead.
You are right, it is indeed the march security update lmao
Yes. I installed it and seen as March update in system tab.
it’s actually march security patch, xiaomi wrote the changelog wrong
It may be a mistake in the English text. In another language it says March
april security update write 1 march 2018 security update install wtf xiaomi
They should give this update on 1st april ? , with march security hahahahah
In a way it’s good to see the company is rolling out the March update in the month of March (Mi A1 is an Android One phone after all). But the initial “April” update notification, that should ideally bring cheer, leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you realize after installation that the security patch level is at March, not April.
