Be it good or bad press, the iPhone X has been hitting headlines from day one. While the list of bugs plaguing Apple’s latest flagship device is already long, new problems are continuing to pop up. Of late, a new iPhone X issue caught our attention, where users have been cribbing about their hair getting caught in their units when the phone is placed on the ear, say while attending a call.
Needless to say, this results in users pulling their hair inadvertently when they are done with the activity (call or whatever else).
That’s bizarre. Wasn’t the $1,000 cut on pocket enough already, that these devices have started pulling consumer’s hair as well. The hassled users are heading to different help forums including Apple Community and Reddit to chime about the irritating hair-pulling behavior of their units.
Even Twitter is not left behind. Many of those affected took to the micro-blogging service to bring the problem to light. Following are some of the recent tweets:

And mind you, it’s not just people with long hair who are facing this problem – even those with short or facial hair are also complaining about the same.

I’m a guy and my hair is pretty short on the sides and I think I goes into the little gap around the screen and gets stuck
The only escape as reported by some of those affected is to put a case on the phone.
Some users even asked for replacement, and were offered the same by Apple. However, we aren’t sure how a replacement would help in a problem which apparently has its roots in the device’s design.
It’s worth pointing out that a similar issue was faced by iPhone 6 users as well. Officially, Apple is yet to offer a comment/statement on the matter. The problem appears to be widespread, so we hope the company addresses it sooner than later.
